WS Training is seeking an experienced AI Leadership Tutor/Assessor to deliver work-based Apprenticeship/Employability training. The successful candidate will plan and carry out assessment against National Occupational Standards, ensuring timely achievement of qualifications.

This is a flexible, home-based role with travel required to employer sites across the East of England.

Location: Hybrid with regular travel
Salary: FTE £41,203.50 per annum (£24,722.10 per annum pro-rata based on part-time working) (dependent on qualifications and experience – proof will be requested).
Contract Type: Part-time (22.5 hours per week)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Instruction of vocational knowledge, skills and behaviours to learners to ensure that their needs are fulfilled and appropriate Apprenticeship Standards are achieved.
  • Plan, deliver and evaluate training to facilitate learners achieving all required assessments.
  • Provide clear concise feedback in line with Ofsted requirements in teaching learning and assessment
  • A combination of classroom-based delivery and 1-1 remote/visit learners in the workplace, quality assuring them as part of the apprenticeship standard
  • Create and update individual learning plans with learners
  • Complete action plans, reviews and relevant assessment documentation in line with WS Training Limited’s quality procedures.
  • Monitor, review and assess learners in work placements.
  • Regularly liaise with placement providers on the learner’s progress and development needs end ensure employer engagement and involvement.
  • Plan, deliver and evaluate group or individual training sessions, when a training need has been identified.

About You

  • Experience delivering apprenticeship programmes, ideally in AI leadership
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
  • Relevant teaching or assessing qualifications – Assessor qualification and a Level 3 teaching qualification is desirable.
