Meet the team

Kirstie joined WS Training in October 2018 as a Director of Quality. Kirstie was soon after appointed as Deputy CEO in April 2019, and then was given full responsibility as CEO in August 2019.

Kirstie has worked in the education sector for 20 years and started her career as a teacher back in 2005, working across various prisons across the country, to upskill those detained, with qualifications in advice and guidance. Kirstie soon developed a keen interest in quality assurance and progressed her career as a Quality Improvement Practitioner, specialising in CIAG and Leadership & Management.  She has previously worked as a Director of Quality for a National Training Provider, supporting them to become a Grade 2 provider. More recently, Kirstie led the WS Training team to secure its Grade 2 at the last Ofsted visit in July 2022.

Kirstie’s vision for education is focused on unlocking each person’s potential to learn, to provide them with the ability to forge a career doing something they love. She believes teachers hold a powerful gift in being able to pass on knowledge to others and to change behaviours, which can influence and inspire generations to come.
