Recognising when to raise a concern is the first step, but it is also important to understand how to take action. Whether you are a concerned employer, parent, carer, or learner, this page will share everything you need to know to report a concern with WS Training.
Raise a concern
If you are unsure whether you have a concern to report, please visit our safeguarding page to learn more about the types of issues that should be reported.
- Report your concern to WS Training
- Our dedicated safeguarding team will investigate
- We will support you as best as we can throughout the process
How to report a concern
Confidentiality is our top priority, which is why we have a solution in place that is designed to support everyone. You might be…
- A learner concerned about something affecting yourself or another person
- A parent worried about their child or another learner
- An employer concerned about one of your employees
At WS Training, we encourage everyone to use My Voice, a system that allows you to raise a concern anonymously should you wish to. There is no need to worry about the information falling into the wrong hands because the My Voice platform is strictly confidential, and our dedicated staff managing this system will promptly address and take appropriate action where necessary.
Should you be unable to use the online concern form, we strongly encourage you to speak directly with a member of our team, who are fully equipped and prepared to assist you with any concerns you may have.
What happens next?
You might feel worried after reporting your concern, but here is what happens next…
- A member of the team might need to ask you some questions, they will listen to you carefully and try to understand the entire situation.
- They will keep your situation confidential where they can but will follow WS Training policies and procedures around safeguarding and prevent.
- Appropriate action, which might include contacting the MASH Team or the Police, will be taken if necessary.
- The designated safeguarding team member will keep you informed where they can, but keep in mind that they might not be able to share all the details to protect everyone involved.
- Don’t forget, our team is here to support you throughout.
