Course Overview

Infection Control Management is a course that has been designed to educate the delegate on improving how they work when there is a risk of infections transferring. The course provides the delegate the knowledge and understanding so that they can confidently implement safe working practices.

In recent years, the course has been adapted to include reviewing and managing safe practices with regards to the Covid-19 outbreaks and similar previous threats

Course Content

Below is a breakdown of each of the modules included within the course: 

  • Module 1: Why we need policy and procedures / health and safety Covid-19 lessons to be learnt and why mistakes were made 
  • Module 2: Personal hygiene and the benefits 
  • Module 3: The use of barriers and PPE  
  • Module 4: How bacteria and viruses really affect humans and transmission 
  • Module 5: Chain of infection  
  • Module 6: Susceptible individuals and immune status
