Driver CPC – Load Safety- Remote Training

To raise the level of competence and understanding in relation to the principles of the safe loading of vehicles.

By the end of the course, delegates will be able to:

• Discuss the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) Load Safety Guidance Document
• Understand the principles of safe loading
• Discuss different types of load restraints and systems
• Demonstrate the use of a ratchet strap, chain tensioner or extension bar
• Discuss the importance of correct weight distribution
• Be able to convert different vehicle heights (feet and inches to metres)
