Understand how an apprenticeship is funded
All apprenticeships have a funding value. Some employers will pay 5% of the total funding value, and some will be exempt.
Others will pay fully through their levy pot. Use this link to work out which one will apply to you.
Initial Discussions
Understand your business needs and explain apprenticeships to you
We will take time to fully understand your needs and requirements for a new apprenticeship, whilst at the same time explaining to you the current expectations and conditions for having an apprentice including:
- Choosing the right programme
- Prior learning and initial assessments
- Off the job training
- The role of the mentor
- Our models of delivery
Once you are happy with the chosen programme and we would be the right provider, we will start the process.

Once confirmed, we will promote your vacancy for you using the government apprenticeship recruitment system.
We will also promote the vacancy on our website, in our social media and through other agencies and partners to which we link to reach as many people as possible.
Like any job, we set a closing date. Â All applicants are then reviewed and passed onto you in a way that upholds the equality act, so you can decide if they are suitable to interview or not.
We will then inform candidates of the decision to interview or not and work out the best way to arrange for this to take place.
