Qualifications: AET – PGCE (with QTS/QTLS) – Proof of qualification required.
Work schedule: 4 days a week, term time only.
Job Types: Part-time, fixed contract
Work Location: In person, 1 Battery Green Road, Lowestoft NR32 1DE
FTE salary: £27,810 – £36,048.97 – this is dependant on qualifications & experience – proof of qualifications will be requested.
Contract length: 12 months
Expected hours: 28 per week
Expected start date: January 2026, with opportunity to complete some induction days prior to the start date.

Job Description
The role includes but is not limited to:-
- Teaching FS English and Vocational Studies Level 1.
- Contributing to the initial assessment process, induction activities and identifying gaps in learning.
- The use of baseline assessments to plan suitable sessions enabling learners to access learning that is motivational and inspiring.
- Assisting students to improve their own learning and performance by developing their study skills.
- Devising appropriate interventions to support students to remain on track for completion of their course.
- Agreeing and putting in place relevant targets and actions.
- Taking responsibility for planning and delivering high quality teaching, learning and assessment to our students who have a broad range of barriers to learning and/or Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
