The units that will be covered during this course are as follows:

Managing Improvement

  • Understand the effectiveness of the organisation and own ability to manage and improve quality to meet customer requirements
  • Be able to plan and implement projects to meet, and if possible exceed, customer requirements

Understanding Organisational Cultures and Ethics

  • Understand organisational ethics and culture, in relation to own organisation
  • Understand how an organisations ethics and culture influence leadership style and organisation structure
  • Understand how to leverage ethics and culture to improve organisation performance

Becoming an Effective Leader

  • Understand own ability to fulfill key responsibilities of the leadership role
  • Be able to evaluate your own ability to lead others

Delegating Authority in the Workplace

  • Understand the benefits of delegation
  • Be able to delegate effectively in the workplace
  • Be able to improve own ability to delegate and empower others

Assessment

Each candidate must complete to a national standard:

Work-based assignment and Unit assessments to cover the units.

A minimum of 13 credits and a maximum of 36 credits are required to complete this qualification and must be completed within 3 years.
