Course Title ILM Level 3 Award in Leadership and Management – Package A
Aim & Objectives
The Level 3 Award in Leadership and Management aims to give practising or potential managers the foundation for their formal development in this role.
The programme has two primary objectives:
• To assist participants in gaining the basic knowledge required by a Manager • To develop basic Management skills
Entry Requirements
Participants will normally be either practising or aspiring first line managers. Whilst there are no formal educational requirements, learners should have a background that will enable them to benefit from the programme.

Course Content
A minimum of 4 credits are required to complete this qualification and must be completed within 3 years.
The units that will be covered during this course are as follows:
Solving problems and making decisions
Understand how to establish an effective team
Understand how to motivate to improve performance
Understanding conflict management in the workplace
Assessment
Each candidate must complete to a national standard: Work based assignment and Unit assessments to cover the units
