SQA certified - Operatives and Supervisors.
It is a legal requirement to hold and carry your SWQR card. Re-Assessment for the New Roads and Street Works qualification came into place in April 2011. This applies to all delegates (operatives and supervisors) that hold the qualification who live and work in England. Delegates applying for Re-registration are reminded that their cards are valid for 5 years and you can apply to renew your card anytime during that 5 years and up to 5 years after the card validity date
Programme:
WS Training offers this re-assessment as a 1 or 2 day refresher training course depending on what units are being re-assessed.
Exams
As of June 2021 re-assessments will be conducted electronically under exam conditions. Each unit has a multiple choice timed exam (45 minutes). Delegates are able to take their books into the exam (as long as they are current and haven’t been written in). Current publications are also available in the exam room for use during the exam.
All exams can only be conducted in English; use of a scriber or a reader is permitted for delegates who have reading/writing issues. No interpreters are permitted.

Duration:
1 or 2 days depending on the number of units being re-assessed.
All delegates MUST bring their SWQR card. You are NOT required to bring a passport photo. Your photo will be taken on the day of the assessment.
