**Work placement **The successful candidate will need to answer calls and texts on our on mobile phone during office hours. The person would be replying to tenants queries, arranging appointments, sorting out maintenance issues, setting up viewings, liaising with cleaners and replying to prospective tenants about information on properties they are wishing to view. We would offer on the job training whilst in the office with the other agents. If the person is confident on computers then it would be great if they could help us with other admin duties such as scanning in documents, replying to email queries, ordering equipment printing out paperwork for new tenants etc. **Training to be provided **This Traineeship opportunity includes work preparation training, Functional Skills maths and English support for those who require it and a high quality work experience placement. This Traineeship opportunity includes 2 elements:- • Quality ‘on the job’ work experience. You will become a member of the existing team and learn aspects of work within the administration sector, gaining valuable insight into the company and the industry • Work preparation training and employability skills, along with maths and English support for those who require it, as part of the ‘off the job’ training element of the programme. This will be through 1 day a week minimum attendance at WS Training Ltd, 37-43 Fore Street, Ipswich, IP4 1JL **Future prospects **• After successful completion of the Traineeship course, you will receive a certificate of completion and a letter of reference as a minimum, to support future job applications • You will also receive guaranteed interview status for any suitable jobs at Lea Property Solutions in the future • There may also be an opportunity of an apprenticeship


**About the employer **Employer LEA PROPERTY SOLUTIONS LTD http://www.leapropertysolutions.co.uk/ Description Lea Property Solutions are a small, family run business, who have successfully been trading for 15 years. They are specialist agents in HMOs (houses of multiple occupancy) which is renting rooms to working professionals. They are a team of 4 (looking to be 5) who advertise to find tenants for rooms; show them around, collect their references and then move them in. They also conduct 6 monthly house inspections on all of their 32 properties. House shares range from 2 persons to 15 persons sharing a property.

  • Good communication skills
  • Good telephone skills
  • Basic computer skills (excel, word, office etc) would be a huge advantage. **Personal qualities ** Polite, personable and friendly when talking to other colleagues and prospective tenants/tradesmen.

  • A positive outlook on life would be preferable! **Things to consider **• This is UNPAID work experience • Much of the time will be spent in a an office environment • This can be a very fast paced job role, where you may have to juggle more than one task at a time • A bursary fund maybe available to help with any travel expenses to the work placement
