Intended for personnel with responsibility of maintaining a consistent cash flow. Dealing with customers efficiently and effectively.

Course Objectives:

  • To understand the process of credit through assessing the risk
  • To understand the basics of company balance sheets and company reports when assessing the risk of offering credit
  • To ensure the customer knows what is expected
  • to positive debt chasing, whether by telephone or letter
  • How to deal with difficult customers
  • What happens when debts need to be processed through the courts or even go bad

To understand the credit process from sales enquiry from a potential new customer through to receipt of payment

  • by credit checking and understanding the risk
  • by having a credit policy
  • by good documentation
  • by successful debt chasing
  • by understanding the process when customers do not pay
