Course Contents:

A minimum of 13 credits and a maximum of 36 credits are required to complete this qualification and must be completed within 3 years.

The units that will be covered during this course are as follows:

Managing Improvement

1.       Understand the effectiveness of the organisation and own ability to manage and improve quality to meet customer requirements

2.       Be able to paln and implement projects to meet, and if possible exceed, customer requirements

Understanding Organisational Cultures and Ethics

1.      Understand organisational ethics and culture, in relation to own organisation

2.      Understand how an organisations ethics and culture influence leadership style and organisation structure

3.      Understand how to leverage ethics and culture to improve organisation performance

Becoming an Effective Leader

1.       Understand own ability to fulfil key responsibilities of the leadership role

2.       Be able to evaluate own ability to lead others

Delegating Authority in the Workplace

1.       Understand the benefits of Delegation

2.       Be able to delegate effectively in the workplace

3.       Be able to improve own ability to delegate and empower others


Each candidate must complete to a national standard:

Work based assignment and Unit assessments to cover the units
