APM Project Fundamentals Qualification

Course Overview

This qualification is designed to enable delegates to understand the language of project management and the structure of a successful project. After attending the course, delegates will be able to taken an active part in a project team and make a positive contribution to any project environment.

The Exam

The Project Fundamentals exam, taken at the end of the course, consists of

• Question booklet containing 60 questions
• Pass mark is a total of 36 or more out of the possible 60 (60%)
• 1 hour multiple choice, closed book

Prerequisites

Attendance on this course does not require any prior knowledge or experience of project management. The qualification is designed for anyone starting a career in project management and for those wanting to understand the principles of project management excellence. This course takes place over two days,

including the optional Introductory Certificate examination. Delegates should be aware that considerable evening preparation and consolidation will be required to pass the exam. Joining instructions are sent out approximately 2 –3 weeks before the course.
